About Our Expert Psychiatrist

Dr. Nagpal has been providing direct patient care to adult psychiatric patients since 1989. He has been actively involved in teaching medical students and training junior medical staff in the art of psychiatry, as well as lecturing to local general practitioners as part of their further educational requirements. He has performed clinical and administrative roles in both public and private hospital settings. His formal career began as a Specialist Grade 1 at Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi. In 1991 he established Manobal Klinik and became a self-employed professional. He is a partner at BANAI – Behavioural and Neuroscience Academy of India which teaches mental health professionals cutting-edge clinical facets of psychiatry, both online and offline.

In 2016, a group of psychiatrists from four different corners of India began SARVAM. They turned corporate very soon and launched two centres. These centres provide rehabilitation and wellness services and today are the biggest chain in North India. Simultaneously, Dr. Nagpal joined a prominent NGO – DEVA Foundation as a trustee and launched an All-Women Rehabilitation Home (ANVITA) that takes care of dispossessed, orphans, mentally ill, and challenged females. This NGO has three centres at Noida, Varanasi & Chunnar in Uttar Pradesh. Dr. Nagpal regularly attends all the leading world congresses in various aspects of psychiatry. At the organisational level, he is currently Chair, Section on Developing Nations, World Association of Private Psychiatry.
